Welcome to the first edition of my constituency newsletter.

I have certainly never been busier in my life than over these last few months, including setting up my office, getting to grips with the weird and wonderful parliamentary procedures like ‘bobbing’.

During the election, two of my key pledges were to seek to revive music and the arts, and to encourage greater funding for local services. In parliament, I have taken the opportunity to highlight the values of music, arts, health, sports, leisure centres, and local government in both debates and in numerous cross-party meetings over recent weeks.

I have also passed on a range of issues to relevant ministers.

In the constituency, I continue to listen to and worked with residents during my surgeries and casework.

I am also visiting schools, local organisations and businesses, and supporting positive initiatives that benefit the environment.
