Alongside my colleague Linsey Farnsworth, MP for Amber Valley, we hosted a meeting with residents who are concerned about National Grid’s proposed pylon route.
It was a valuable opportunity to discuss the ongoing consultation that National Grid is holding. We discussed potential improvements that we can feedback, including changes that could reduce overall costs, protect local agricultural and hospitality businesses, and utilise existing infrastructure in Amber Valley and Mid Derbyshire.
