Amber Valley Borough Council’s planning committee is scheduled to consider the Belper Mills planning application on Monday 16th February 2026 at 7pm in the Strutts Community Centre.
This application proposes 130 flats in the East Mill, restoration of the North Mill to secure its long term use along with repairs to windows and guttering, and other steps to regenerate the site and bring it back into public use.
This is a real chance to take a big step forward to revive this important building, which is key to our region’s only Unesco world heritage site.
