I’m pleased that Derby City Council’s planning committee voted unanimously to refuse planning permission for up to 150 homes on land next to Chaddesden Wood in Oakwood.
I spoke against the application and was pleased to stand with residents, volunteers with Friends of Chaddesden Wood and local councillors to protect this piece of ancient woodland from the harm this development would cause.
