I attended the celebration of 50 Years of the Hindu Temple at Geeta Bhawan Derby last weekend with residents of Mid Derbyshire.
This was my first visit to a Hindu Temple, and I enjoyed a really warm welcome and wonderful hospitality. I learnt a lot about Hindu traditions, the importance of fire rituals, and the history of the site.
I look forward to going again in the future.
