As the festive period draws closer, and the year comes to an end, many people will be taking a moment to reflect on the last 12 months.

December marks five months since I was elected Mid Derbyshire’s MP. It has been a busy but rewarding time.

Serving local people – representing their needs and aspirations – is at the forefront of my mind every day.

Since the election, I have regularly held door knocking sessions, surgeries, facilitated public meetings, and attended public events.

Here are some of the highlights of these last few months.

I continue to work my way around the constituency to listen to any concerns or issues, and to support local people wherever I can.
